Nasi Goreng with Sambal

Here is a quick & easy recipe of 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓 - 𝐒𝐓𝐘𝐋𝐄 𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐈 𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐀𝐔𝐂𝐄 that can be made in under 15 minutes!


  • Onion – 50g
  • Cabbage – 50g
  • Carrot – 50g
  • Green Peas – 30g
  • AWE Foods Sambal Sauce – 50g
  • Egg – 1 Number
  • Oil – 10g
  • Chicken Breast Julienne – 90g
  • Cooked Jasmine Rice / Basmati – 200g
  • Salt – To Taste
  • Sugar – 3g Optional
  • Spring Onion – 10g (Garnish)


1. Heat oil in a pan until hot. Proceed to make one fried egg and keep it separately.

2. Now, heat some oil in a wok. Add the chicken and stir-fry it for 2-3 minutes until the chicken is cooked.

3. Add in a colorful medley of onion,cabbage,carrots, and fresh green peas. Stir fry for a minute.

4. Add AWE foods Sambal paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

5. Next, add cooked rice and season to your liking. Stir fry until everything is perfectly mixed.

6. Finally, transfer to a serving dish, add the fried egg on top, and garnish with spring onions or cilantro for an extra pop of colour and flavour.

To take your dish up a notch, add some chopped tomato or tomato paste in step 4.
